Kazuyoshi Usui (born 1975) Japanese Artist
About Bullet Boy
With Bullet Boy, Kazuyoshi is telling a story of Yakusa’s decline. He is using an elegant and esthetic way of dealing with the matter of mafia’s life and death.
For me, his work on Bullet Boy is linked to Isaac Julien’s serie Two Thousand Wave for the choice of colors impregnation and David Lachapelle’s way of stageplay. This mix is very spectacular in Bullet Boy, very precise and colorful.
